Hi, I´m Jaimi

My name is Jaimi, and I am a mom who loves to encourage other mothers in the season of raising children, making a home, and staying focused on the end goals of motherhood. I am the mom of four, including a set of twins. I am also a military wife, writer and “professional” playdate planner. We have to meet mom friends somehow, right?!

I studied early childhood education and teaching in college, so I was able to study a lot about child psychology, family dynamics and what research shows about those two factors in the life of children. I decided to channel that background and the feeling like I could really help moms who were just trying to survive at home caring for their families.

The stay at home mom survival guide is my little ministry. The blog has really grown from where it started. It is a resource for mothers, parents, and even teachers.

Color Matching with Cars

Color Matching with Cars

I set up this activity for my twins when they were 2 years old. I am amazed at how much they enjoyed matching each vehicle to its color. But even more than that, it was fun to see how they kept playing with this simple color matching with cars toddler activity for a long time after the color...

Preschool Curriculum

Preschool Curriculum

After teaching preschool, preparing my own kiddos for school, homeschooling 2 preschoolers and their 2 older siblings, I know it can be hard to decide on a preschool curriculum. Setting up a preschool curriculum is a little tricky. You want to teach your 3 year olds and 4 year olds what they need...

This is a sponsored conversation written by myself on behalf of Luvs at Walmart. All text an opinions are my own. I heard it so many times, I almost started rolling my eyes. “What do you do all day?” As if house, kids, meals, cleaning, laundry and all the rest of the odds and ends of a stay-at...
